Chapters is operated by Detailed Thought Studio, Mumbai. By creating an account or posting a snap, voice note, caption, or comment, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.
Who can use Chapters
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the email address you use and for the people you invite into a chapter.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, voice notes, and words you post. You give Chapters permission to store them and show them to the people in that chapter, for as long as the chapter or your account exists. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.
Objectionable content and behaviour
You may not post or do any of the following:
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or any sexual content shared without consent.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate against a person or group.
- Graphic violence, or content that promotes dangerous or illegal acts.
- Spam, scams, or impersonation.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright, privacy, or other rights.
The app asks you to accept these terms before you post. Inside a snap you can report the snap or a comment, and you can block the person who posted it. Blocking hides their snaps and comments from you. We review reports and may remove the content or the account. Chapters is not a place for objectionable content, and we may close an account that keeps breaking these rules.
Hosted chapters
If you delete your account, chapters you host are deleted, including snaps other guests added there. Tell your guests before you do that.
The free plan
New hosts start on the free Prologue plan. The Android app does not sell digital goods and does not take a payment. Limits for events, guests, storage, voice length, and the gallery window are shown in the app.
The service
We provide Chapters as it is available. Events, reveal times, and albums depend on the network and the clocks you set. We may suspend the service for abuse, security, or maintenance.
